The health and safety of our communities remain top priority as we continue to work tirelessly to minimize the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). We are actively taking measures in doing this by carefully screening each patient for covid symptoms before they enter our facility, having our healthcare workers wear masks, and sanitizing all of our work areas with hospital-grade disinfectant. If you are ill with fever, cough or shortness of breath or have been exposed to a person with suspected or confirmed COVID symptoms, call 1-800-458-4559 to be connected to our CHRISTUS COVID Hotline. Our Approach

If you have an emergency, please call 911 immediately.

Our highly trained physicians handle all type of emergencies from chest pain and stroke symptoms to high blood pressure and general children's emergencies. Emergency transportation will be available for patients requiring inpatient hospital care.

When to go to an ER vs Urgent Care

The difference between our freestanding ERs and Urgent Cares is the wait time. Our Emergency Centers operate just as an emergency room in a hospital facility, complying with all of the same requirements for hospital-based emergency departments. All operational and regulatory requirements are consistent with those of any other hospital emergency department.

Stoke Ready

Creekside Town Center is the first, freestanding emergency room to be recognized as “Stroke Ready” in New Braunfels. The certification means the Emergency Centers are equipped to treat stroke patients with timely, evidence-based care prior to transferring them to a Primary or Comprehensive Stroke Center.
