Two Hour Education Program
Our pre-operative knee or hip joint replacement care begins the moment a physician and their patient decide that hip or knee replacement is the best option. CHRISTUS Spohn requires a two-hour education program, led by a registered nurse, that helps our patients prepare for surgery as well as for rehabilitation at the hospital and at home. The pre-operative class is designed to reduce a patient’s anxiety by answering all of their questions in advance of their surgery.
Classes are mandatory for all patients who chose CHRISTUS Spohn for their elective hip and knee replacements.
Classes typically are scheduled the same day as pre-registration for your convenience.
Classes are held every Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
