Our Approach

We are a teaching clinical practice of CHRISTUS Spohn. Our resident physicians have completed four years of medical school and are completing a three year residency to become board-certified family physicians. A major aspect of residency training is taking care of patients in an office setting, which is under the supervision of experienced faculty physicians. Our care extends to the hospital setting, where we deliver babies and care for our patients requiring hospitalization. Therefore, our physicians may not be in the office every day. Although we strive to have you see your personal physician in certain situations, you may need to be seen by a covering physician.

All patient care is supervised by faculty physicians in the office and at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital-Corpus Christi to ensure that you are receiving comprehensive and up-to-date care.

Our team includes:

  • Faculty Physicians
  • Clinical Psychologists
  • Resident Physicians
  • Medical Staff - MAs, CMAs, LVNs

We offer virtual care for your immediate health concerns. See our physicians below who offer virtual visits. Learn about how video visits and telephone visits work. You can schedule your virtual visit on MyChart. Don’t have a MyChart account? Sign up today!

Universal Masking

We at CHRISTUS Health value your health and safety. Consistent with recommendations from the CDC and the Texas Medical Board, we are requiring all patients, visitors and employees to wear a mask while within our facilities. Masks are not advised for children under age 2. Please bring your mask from home with you to your appointment. Any double layered cloth mask covering your nose and mouth is appropriate for visiting our clinics as long as it does not have an exhalation valve. If you cannot come alone to your appointment, please bring no more than 1 essential visitor with you.

If you are ill with fever and cough or shortness of breath, please contact your clinician's office for instructions before coming into the clinic. You can streamline your check-in process and help maintain social distancing by using the e-Check in feature in MyChart prior to your arrival. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. These measures are just a few steps we are taking to ensure to provide you and all others a safe environment.
