Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement from The Joint Commission

 Tyler today announced it has once again earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. The advanced certification is for Joint Commission-accredited hospitals, critical access hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers seeking to elevate the quality, consistency and safety of their services and patient care.


Patients to Benefit from Innovative Fluorescence Imaging Technology

CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Tyler announced today that plastic and reconstructive and other surgeries may now benefit from an innovative imaging technology called SPY-PHI. The use of Stryker’s SPY-PHI may help surgeons to make decisions during open surgery based on the quality of blood flow in vessels and micro vessels that provide oxygen to organs.

While on vacation at 31 weeks pregnant, Luke’s mom, Katie, started having abdominal pain. Luke’s parents immediately rushed to the closest emergency room where Katie’s pain was first diagnosed as a gall stone, and the doctors suggested that the best course of treatment would be to remove it.
