Dr. Sanju Eswaran, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery. Dr. Eswaran is dedicated to providing a personalized treatment plan that fits the unique needs of each patient, whether through operative and/or nonoperative modalities.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her doctorate of medicine from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She knew early on in medical school she wanted to do hand surgery due to the complexities of hand anatomy and surgical treatment that is entailed. She completed her Orthopedic Surgery Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, further distinguishing herself as the academic chief resident her final year. She then specialized in hand and upper extremity surgery by completing her fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University.
