CHRISTUS St. Vincent Pulmonary Critical Care Associates

Northern New Mexico's high altitude can be a problem for some people, affecting one's ability to breathe freely. This in turn makes it difficult to perform normal daily activities and enjoy life.

Our Approach

CHRISTUS St. Vincent Pulmonary & Critical Care Associates diagnose and treat patients with illnesses that affect breathing and the lungs. We provide both inpatient care at the hospital and outpatient care in our offices located on the CHRISTUS St. Vincent campus. We have providers on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Lung function can also be compromised by other potentially life-threatening conditions such as:

  • Asthma
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)
Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)- used in the diagnosis of lung cancer, infections and other diseases. This procedure allows physicians to get good biopsies without creating too much discomfort for the patient.
