What is Head & Neck Cancer? 

Cancers of the mouth, sinuses, nose, or throat are known as head and neck cancers. It is heavily associated with smoking, alcohol, and chewing tobacco. Signs of Head & Neck Cancer

  • Red and white sores on the gums, tongue, or lining of the mouth
  • Jaw swelling 
  • Abnormal bleeding and excessive pain in the mouth
  • Lumps and thickening in the mouth
  • Difficulty breathing and/or speaking
  • Difficulty chewing or swallowing 
  • Constant pain in the throat or ears
  • Constant sinus infections that aren't responding to antibiotics

Causes of Head and Neck Cancers 

Two major risk factors for head and neck cancers are associated with alcohol and tobacco. However other factors can partake such as UV light exposure and chemical exposure.
