Our Approach

Robotic-assisted technology allows surgeons to maneuver with a range of motion and visibility never before available in surgery. Robotic Surgery is a type of minimally invasive surgery providing more precision and accuracy.

Recognized for many achievements, CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth, is the only hospital in the Beaumont area to offer advanced robotic-assisted surgery. With enhanced precision provided by two da Vinci XI robotic surgery systems and the Mako Robotic-Arm assisted robot, our board certified surgeons can offer minimally invasive alternatives for complex gynecologic, general, and orthopedic surgery procedures.

Women’s Disorders and Conditions treated by da Vinci surgery:

  • Uterine fibroid tumors
  • Endometriosis
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding
  • Related symptoms that warrant hysterectomy
  • Pelvic (uterine) prolapse and related issues

Smaller incisions can mean less pain, shorter hospital stays and faster recoveries, enabling patients to return to their daily activities that much sooner.
