Making a commitment to change your lifestyle can be difficult, but with the help of the cardiac rehabilitation team, you are more likely to stay motivated.
The program consists of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals: a medical director, nurse, exercise physiologist, respiratory therapist, rehab counselor, and a dietitian. Each individual is involved in assisting you to your optimal level of health and fitness. Your cardiologist will receive a copy of your pre- and post-rehab evaluation, which includes an evaluation of your body composition as well as a full physical assessment. A report of your progress will be sent to your physician upon completion of the program.
