Dr. Trevor Wait is a board-certified orthopedist and sports medicine fellow with CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic. As a Longview, Texas native, Dr. Wait is passionate about bringing the highest quality of care back to his hometown. Dr. Wait provides comprehensive orthopedic care including:
- Arthroscopy surgery of the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, and elbow
- Arthroplasty of the knee, hip, shoulder
- Fractures of all extremities
- Tendinopathies and nerve decompression of the upper extremity and hand
- Foot and ankle pathology
- Ultrasound guided injections
Dr. Wait is skilled and up to date in the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and advances in sports medicine. Dr. Wait has served as an assistant team physician for the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and Colorado Rapids as well as various high school football teams. Dedicated to providing his patients with personalized care, he takes the time to listen to their concerns and answer their questions thoroughly.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Wait is also active in research. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and is currently researching the use of platelet-rich plasma therapy for the treatment of sports injuries. When not in the clinic, Dr. Wait enjoys playing competitive sports, outdoors, and hiking.
