Our Approach

Hours of Operation

Open 24 Hours

Our goal is to ensure CHRISTUS Santa Rosa - Medical Center continues to be a safe place to receive care.  We are following new guidelines and want you to be aware of these important changes.

NEW VISITOR HOURS

While our emergency department is open 24 hours, visitors will now be guided to enter our hospitals' main entrances during the following hours:

5:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. daily

VISITOR SCREENING

For the safety and health of the community and our ministry, we are currently screening all visitors to help reduce the risk of infectious disease transmission among our patients, Associates and guest.

This approach is in line with current precautions regarding the spread of these type of diseases and not menat to alarm anyone, but to protect all of us. We will ask visitors the following quesitons about their travel and health:

  1. Have you traveled to any of the identified risk areas in the last two weeks?
  2. Are you experiencing any of the following symptoms
    1. Fever
    2. Cough
    3. Sore Throat
    4. Shortness of Breath
    5. Runny Nose

VISITOR LIMITATIONS

To limit the risk of exposure to our patients, visitors, Associates, and volunteers there is a limit to the number of visitors per patients.

  • Isolation Patient  - One Visitor
  • Medical - Surgery Patients - One Visitor 
  • Same Day Procedure - One Visitor 
  • Critical Care - One Support  and One Visitor
  • Pediatrics - One Support and One Visitor
  • NICU - Parents Only

We want to be perfectly clear – CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Medical Center  remains a safe places for all to receive quality care. While COVID-19 is new, our processes and procedures in place for infection prevention and preventing the spread of illness are not. From physicians and nurses, quality and safety experts to those responsible for ordering supplies and keeping the hospital clean — all our Associates are involved in making sure we provide a safe environment for our patients and their families, our Associates and this community we serve.
