Pediatric Gastroenterology Specialists

CHRISTUS Health Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition provides diagnosis and treatment of common gastrointestinal problems in children and adolescents. Our skilled professionals are dedicated to caring for children with abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting and gastroesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, and weight problems.

In addition, we offer comprehensive care for more complex disorders including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, cyclic vomiting, and motility disorders, short bowel syndrome and home nutrition support, pancreatic and biliary disorders, and metabolic disease affecting the liver or intestine.

General Pediatric GI

We offer an array of general pediatric GI services to diagnose and treat common GI disorders in children. From bowel disorders to liver disease, we provide medical services to all. 

Bowel Transplant

Children with liver disease or short bowel syndrome can confidently come to CHRISTUS Health and receive the highest quality care. We also provide pre and post-liver/small bowel transplant care.

Feeding Tube

Our therapeutic feeding clinic offers a multidisciplinary approach to children with swallowing and feeding difficulty and is attended by a pediatric gastroenterologist, speech therapist, physical therapist, and pediatric dietician.

Nutrition

We provide nutrition support for children who have weight problems, short bowel syndrome and intestinal failure. In addition, our pediatric dietician can customize nutrition plans that work best for your child

Pancreas & Biliary

The Pancreas and Biliary Clinic provides comprehensive care for patients with hereditary and chronic pancreatitis and biliary tract disorders.
