CHRISTUS Health announced today it is now offering a new screening tool to some patients, as well as doctors, nurses and other CHRISTUS Associates on the frontlines to learn who has been infected with COVID-19—AND—who might now carry protective antibodies.


New Antibody Treatment For COVID-19 Patients Offered At CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System

CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System announced patients now have access to a monoclonal antibody therapy for treatment of mild-to moderate SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) and started administering treatment last week for COVID19 positive patients who are at greater risk for hospitalization.


CHRISTUS Highland New Emergency Room Is Now Open

CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System is pleased to announce the new Emergency Room at CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center is now open.

Last winter, while pregnant with her third child, 26-year-old stay-at-home mother Morgan Faulk of Bossier City developed severe sciatica. The nerve pain made her right leg weak, gave her a limp and made it difficult to walk, sit or stand for more than a few minutes at a time.
