The CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center is a 35,000 square-foot, ultramodern facility located adjacent to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills and serves as the home to the residency program. The center features 48 exam rooms, four fully equipped procedure suites configured for office ultrasound, colposcopy, casting and fracture management, exercise stress testing, and minor office surgical procedures. In-house laboratory services are offered with on-site phlebotomists. Additionally, the clinic utilizes EPIC Electronic Health Record, operating in a totally wireless environment using Motion Computing Tablet PCs. The electronic health record is accessible to residents from the hospital and from home through the HIPPA compliant CHRISTUS secure physicians web portal. Since the Family Health Center serves as a “landing pad,” each clinic has a resident workroom with desks, book storage, landline phones and a desktop computers. Each workroom is large and is shared by residents who are free to make their space as comfortable as they desire.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills is the first acute-care hospital in this fast growing community, nestled in the western portion of Bexar County. The 150-bed hospital is part of a full-service healthcare campus with state-of-the-art technology offering a full scope of specialized services. Complementing the comprehensive medical services offered at the hospital are three medical plazas, housing more than 40 physician offices, including CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center.

The Children's Hospital of San AntonioCHRISTUS Children's - San Antonio

CHRISTUS Children’s is a state of the art pediatric care facility formed by the partnership between CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, Texas Children’s Hospital, and Baylor College of Medicine. Our facilities provide comprehensive services to the children of San Antonio and the surrounding area of South Texas. Our residents rotate through inpatient, emergency, and outpatient sites under the supervision and teaching of outstanding Baylor College of Medicine faculty.

In addition to pediatric services, CHRISTUS Children’s provides obstetrical services for all of South Texas. Obstetrical hospitalists and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists allow for unmatched high risk obstetrical care. During the second year of residency, our residents have the privilege of spending two to four weeks in this remarkable learning environment.
