Professionalism Award

CHRISTUS Children’s Professionalism Award recognizes a physician or advanced practice provider demonstrating exemplary professionalism in:

  • Values set forth by the organization
  • Integrity and compassion
  • Sensitivity and concern for patients, parents, and colleagues
  • Ethics
  • Providing high quality care
  • Safe practices

Who should be nominated?

A physician, physician resident, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, psychologist, or counselor who demonstrates a commitment to excellence, compassionate care, and a culture of safety. To nominate an outstanding professional, write a single paragraph (200 words or less) describing an exemplary professional.

Describe why this individual deserves consideration for the Outstanding Professionalism Award. Your nomination should be no more than 200 words.

A recipient will be recognized each quarter during Grand Rounds and receive a rotating trophy, certificate, and a designated parking space. The Professionalism Committee will consider each nomination to determine a recipient.
